Professor of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, UMDNJ-Robert
Wood Johnson Medical School New Brunswick, New Jersey U.S.A. He trained in
Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Case Western Reserve
University, Cleveland, Ohio. He received his DO degree from the Midwestern.
University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Mahmood is the founder director
of Sleep and Wellness Medical Associates LLC, New Jersey, USA. He is board
certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care, and Sleep
Medicine from the USA. He received multiple "Excellence in Teaching"
awards at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has authored book chapters and
many scientific articles in peer-reviewed Journals. He was selected to be on
the peer-nominated best doctors list. He lectures extensively and routinely
appears as a guest speaker on radio and television discussing various health topics.
He
is also a member of various professional organizations in the USA that
includes: American College of Physicians (1992-present); American Thoracic
Society (1994-present); American College of Chest Physicians (1994-present);
New Jersey Thoracic Society, Program Committee Member (1997-present); American
Lung Association of New Jersey (1997-present) and American Academy of Sleep
