This is one of HMCT’s poverty alleviation projects. In Bangladesh, women from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds are often oppressed because of their lack of knowledge and skills. To facilitate social security and economic development of destitute women, HMCT has taken initiatives to provide vocational training to destitute women. For this purpose, HMCT organizes sewing training for selected women. Upon successful completion of the training period, Certificates and Commendation Crests are distributed among the trainees. Participants receive a variety of employment-related supports as well.
