The lack of clean
drinking water is a serious issue in both urban and rural areas of
Bangladesh. Sources of clean water in these areas remains a challenge.
With this in mind, HMCT has installed tubewells for the very poor, not only
meeting the need for freshwater, but also reducing diseases.
